I was in the presence of Dickie in numerous social gatherings throughout the years. We were more acquaintances than friends, but he always treated me as a friend, and I appreciated it. He made me feel comfortable in his presence, and we always had a good time. Because of previous commitments, we were unavailable for his viewing and or funeral. Our deepest sympathy on his passing go out to his family.
