Obituary of Walter M. Balcerek

Mount Pleasant, Walter M. "Vudge" Balcerek, age 68 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Friday July 8, 2016 in Excela Heath- Westmoreland Hospital Greensburg, PA. Mr. Balcerek was born October 23, 1947 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Felix and Helen Legutki Balcerek. Vudge was a member of the former Transfiguration Parish, and was a graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School, class of 1965. He was employed for more than 39 years by the former Lenox Crystal Corp. Vudge was an avid golfer and fisherman who enjoyed his life. He was a member of the Bridgeport Sportsmen's, Kosciuszko, and Slovak Clubs. He is survived by his loving family: his brother and sisters: Paul Balcerek and his wife Carole of Lincolnton, NC; Joan Cramer and her husband Larry "Doc" of Mt. Pleasant, and Rita Sechler of Connellsville, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, where services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM, with the Rev. Richard J.
