I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I heard while I was on vacation. He was always nice to me and the last time I saw him was at my dad's (Leo Balcerek) funeral. He is in my prayers as are the family.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you Paul, Rita and Joanne...Vudge was a fun-loving compassionate human being who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest...He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him...Ironically, Gayle and I were in Pittsburgh this past weekend and stayed over a couple extra days in hopes of paying visits to family in Madison, Mt. Pleasant, Scottdale and Everson. We arrived in Mt. Pleasant Tuesday afternoon only to find out about Vudge's passing last Friday and subsequent arrangements Monday evening and early Tuesday. Life is so short and sad when we must say goodbye to loved ones. May God bless Vudge and shower upon him all the grace he earned throughout his time here on this earth. Our love and hugs to all... Bob and Gayle...

I worked at Lenox for 32 years, most mornings, Vudge was the first person I would see as I entered the plant. He always had a smile and a joke, or a prank for me. He absolutely started my day off with a laugh. We shared cat stories. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. My condolences to the family, he will be missed very much here on earth, but he will be making the angels smile!
