Obituary of James Baird (Spider) Hite

Mount Pleasant, James Baird "Spider" Hite, age 61 of Mount Pleasant, PA, formerly of Monessen, died Thursday (12/10/15) at Excela-Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. Mr. Hite was born June 8, 1954 in Charleroi, PA, the son of the late Lloyd and Vivian Baird Hite. He was a 1973 graduate of Monessen High School, and worked in quality control for Volkswagen of America in New Stanton. Spider had also been employed as club steward for the Kosciuszko Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years: LuAnn Hubert Hite, his children; Jeremy Lloyd Hite and his wife Hieu of Irwin, Brandon James Hite of Torrance, and Lauren Ann Hite of Mt. Pleasant, and by his grandchildren; Tyler Hite, Luke Trimmer, Jr., Pacific Hite and Pearl Hite. Jim is also survived by his sisters and brother, Christine Hoffmeyer of TX, Jean Ann Poole of FL and Thomas Barger of TX. As per the wishes of the family, there will be no hours of public visitation. The family wishes to invite family and friends to attend a memorial service for Spider Sunday 1/17/16 at 12-noon at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev.
