Spider , although I have not seen you in some time the memories are good ones. Like when you guys were in Koochies you and Izzy told me the bartenders name was Dick. So I ordered a beer. His name wasn't Dick. RIP peace my friend. Tell my brother Izzy I said behave.

I was in Boy Scouts with Jim in Troop 502 in Monessen. I occasionally day dream about how frigid cold it was at winter camp at Whipkey Dam in Fayette or Somerset County. That was back in 1969 I'm pretty sure. Then word got around amongst our troop that Jim Hite fell into the ice cold creek near the dam. I wasn't with him when he fell in but I heard he was shivering very badly and that they took him inside near the fireplace to get warm. I never really spoke to him but I had always thought that if his graduating class (1973) and mine (1975) at Monessen ever combined so that Jim and I could meet, he might be surprised and amused that I remembered that incident. So I'll leave the story with his family. So sorry to hear of his passing. He seemed so very nice when I last saw him back in high school. All the best to his family. God bless.
