Dee Dee-you were a wonderful sister & friend and knowing that I won't get to see you or talk to you makes me so sad. You were so protective of me, and I always knew that if I ever needed a place to stay or someone to talk to, I could always come to you. I loved you Sis & will miss you so very much. Enjoy your reunion with Chuck, Mom & Dad, Frannie & John, and all the others. I love ya!!!

My sympathy to the family. I met Dee Dee at a support group and we shared stories of our husbands that had passed and our families. We laughed and cried together. I am blessed to have known her.

I remember when Dee Dee first came to my store at Roomful Express Uniontown. We had an evening interview and she was running late but like the professional that she was she called to let me know that she would be running behind. She explained she was making a pan or two of cabbage rolls. And that she would be at least an hour. I said that's ok on one condition, bring me one to taste. She did! And every time she made cabbage rolls for years to come she would make an extra one for me. We spent many years having lunch together or arriving early at work to talk about God and his goodness and mercy. Dee dee was one of a kind and I am going to miss her dearly . Dee dee would tell customers that I was the best manager she had ever worked for and that the customer could ever hope for. She was an asset to the company and a friend to me. She always would spend time with my 5 children when they would make visits to the store . My children loved her too. She loved her family and would remind me that family always comes first. She was a fountain of youth, always had an interesting story to tell full of hope and energy. She was unlike anyone I have ever known. I am glad to have been blessed to know her and be her friend. I miss you Dee Dee.

Dee Dee was part of our bereavement group that met monthly for lunch. She shared many beautiful memories of her husband and talked lovingly of her children and grandchildren. She always had a good story and could always make us laugh. Dee Dee, you will be greatly missed by so many. I know you are at peace, reunited with Chuck at last.
