Obituary of Patricia Ann Paul

Patricia Ann (Molowski) Paul, age 85, of Acme, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Paul was born Jan. 16, 1936 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Varholla Malinowski. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Patty was the owner, with her husband, of the former Jimmy Paul’s Restaurant for more than 50 years. She was a lifelong environmental and animal advocate. Patty had many talents and interests, especially baking, gardening, sewing, and interior designing. Her family was so blessed to have her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 67 years, James D. Paul, her children; Diane Paul, Randall Paul and his wife Deborah, James W. Paul, Tina Marquez, Carol Paul, Karen Paul and Andrea Peronne and her husband Michel, her grandchildren; Celeste Paul, Angela Alario, Anthony Paul, Marc Woody, Carine Marquez, and Chance Fouquier, her seven great-grandchildren and by her sister, Sandra Pavick. Patty will greatly missed by her family along with her dogs, cats, and 22 chickens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jenae Marquez. Family and friends are invited to attend Patricia’s Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 224 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Mountain Watershed Association, the ASPCA Society or the St. Pius X Church, in memory of Patricia Ann Paul.
