Obituary of Anna Marie Rose

Anna Marie (Pavuk) Rose, age 86 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Saturday, (06/5/2021) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Rose was born July 19, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Minick Pavuk. She was a member of St Pius X Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies of Mt Carmel Society. Anna was a 1953 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She loved to golf, work in her flower garden, walk and spend time at the gym. She especially enjoyed watching golf and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Her most cherished time was spent playing with her great-grandchildren. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was lovingly known as Nanny. She is survived by her children; David M Rose and his wife Nancy, of Panama City, FL, Cynthia M Underwood, of Mt. Pleasant, and Tricia A Vinzani and her husband Kevin of Acworth, GA. Nanny will be greatly missed by her Grandchildren, Brandy Mason (Randall), Ashley Czekaj, JD Underwood (Jessie) and Karlysa, Zachary (Alicia) and Joshua Rose and by her beloved Great-Grandchildren, Erik, Lily and Savannah Mason, Cameron and Walker Underwood, Maci Czekaj, and Kataleya and Liam Rose. Anna is also survived by her sisters, Eleanor Peagler, Phyllis Kromer (Jay) and Elizabeth Kowatch and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Pasty Rose, August 23, 2012 and by her brothers and sister, William, Andrew and Leonard Pavuk and Bertha (Pavuk) Latsko. Family and friends will be received Monday, from 4 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10:30AM in the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X RC Church, Mount Pleasant.
