Obituary of Thomas E. Dombrosky

Thomas E. Dombrosky, age 81 of Mount Pleasant, PA, (Kecksburg) died Friday, (5/21/2021) at his home. Mr. Dombrosky was born September 23, 1939 in Mount Pleasant, the son of the late Walter and Pauline Takac Dombrosky. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Tom was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Airforce from 1959 until his discharge in 1963. Tom’s employment began at International Paper. He then went to work for the LE Smith Glass Company and then ended his working career as a greeter at Walmart. Tom was a life member of the Kecksburg Fire Dept. and it’s Ambulance Service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his family. Tom is survived by his loving family: his wife of 57 years, Lealonie Leeper Dombrosky,his children, Thomas (Christine) Dombrosky, Jr. of Greensburg and Michelle (Mark) Packe of Somerset and by his beloved grandchildren; Heather Fazekas, Sean Thomas, Caitlyn Thomas and DylanThomas. He is also survived by his sister, Marcella Kurpiel of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Walter, James and Richard Dombrosky; Josephine Good and Jane Hudock. Honoring Tom’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
