Obituary of Lester E. Trout

Lester E. Trout, age 82 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died unexpectedly, Saturday, (5/15/2021) at his home. Mr. Trout was born Jan. 8, 1939 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late George and Rosa Summy Trout. He was a longtime and active member of the Middle Presbyterian Church. Lester was a 1956 graduate of the former Hurst High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 until 1969. Lester worked in construction for many years, but farming was his true passion. He was an active member of the Armbrust Veterans Association for Military Funeral Services. Lester is survived by his adopted family, Cory and Jamie Hildebrand and their children, Jenna, Garrett, and Kelsey, and by his Church family at Middle Presbyterian. In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Housel and by his sister, Gladys Flinn. Family and friends will be received Friday from 4 unitl 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Lester will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with his Pastor, the Rev. Linda Snyder officiating. Interment with military rites accorded by the Armbrust Veterans Association will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
