Obituary of Robert W. Anderson

Robert W. "Bob-O" Anderson, age 60, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, May 16, 2021, in UPMC Passavant Hospital. Mr. Anderson was born October 15, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Vernon and Dorothy Govern Anderson. Bob was a 1978 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and then went on to graduate from Triangle Tech as an electrician. He loved working with his hands and especially enjoyed taking care of his garden. Bob was a member of the Standard Shaft Citizen Club. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Carol Sladky (Todd), Lenny Anderson (Barbara), Janet Snyder and Denise Anderson. Bob is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and by his beloved cats, Silly and Felix. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home followed by burial in Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. His family would like to send a special thank you to the entire staff at DCI Dialysis Clinic in Mt. Pleasant for their wonderful care and friendship to Robert during his long and courageous battle with kidney disease. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Mt.
