Obituary of Chester E. Grosser

Chester E. “Chet” Grosser, age 60, of Scottdale, PA died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital. Mr. Grosser was born September 23, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Chester E. and Phyllis Snyder Grosser Sr. Chet loved working and spent many years as a driver for Diamond Towing Service in Ruffsdale. He was a member of the Scottdale Fireman's Club. Chet is survived by his loving family: his wife of 39 years, Regina Hoyman Grosser, his children, Chester R. Grosser (Cayce) and April L. Grosser (Josh) and by his adoring eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Rita Aller , Denise Boyle and Jeffrey and Brian Grosser and by his close friend and boss, Mike Yanuck. In addition to his parents, Chet was preceded in death by his sisters, Roxanne Grosser, Barbara Laura, and Tracey Ioppolo. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
