Obituary of Constance M. Zimmerman

Constance "Connie" M. Zimmerman, age 75 of Mount Pleasant, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 5, 2021. Mrs. Zimmerman was born December 16, 1945 in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of the late Dorothy Soforic Hank and Richard Hank. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. Connie was a 1963 graduate of the former Ramsay High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the cafeteria at the Mt. Pleasant Area High School. Connie loved going to yard sales and enjoyed getting together with her trivia club members for the last 26 years. However, spending time with her family; with Blue, who always referred to her as “Precious” and especially with her grandchildren, who referred to her as "Mi Mi" were the times she loved the most. Connie is survived by her loving family: her husband of 54 years, Clifford "Blue" Zimmerman and by her sons, Craig Zimmerman and his wife, Sheri, Scott Zimmerman and his wife, Diana and Jason Zimmerman and his girlfriend, Brenda Gaudiano, all of Mt. Pleasant. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Gavin Zimmerman, Max Zimmerman, Ian Zimmerman, Hunter Reese, Cole Zimmerman, Ben Zimmerman, and Tyler Reese. Family and friends will be received Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 224 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant. Connie's Funeral Mass will immediately follow at Noon, followed by her private Inurnment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Please adhere to all current CDC guidelines, wearing a mask and social distancing, while inside the Church Thank you for your patience and understanding. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice, in Memory of Connie Zimmerman.
