Obituary of Betty Jane Biller

Betty Jane (Sladky) Biller, age 94 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in RNC, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Biller was born January 27, 1927 in Mount Pleasant a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary E. Balchik Sladky. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant. Betty Jo had worked for Anchor Hocking in Connellsville. She lived for many years in the Ridgeview Apartments where she had many good friends. Betty is survived by her loving family: her son, James E. Biller of LakeWood, NJ, her sister, Judy Vanarsdale (Robert) of Mt. Pleasant and by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Biller and by her brothers and sisters ; Edward, Andrew, John, William and Charles Sladky, Mary Ann Sladky and Delores Shawley. Family and friends will be received Friday from 3 until 6 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Walnut Street, Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow in St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Following Covid-19 Guidelines, for Social Distancing will be followed and face masks are required in the Funeral Home and in Church.
