Obituary of Charles N. Perkey

Charles N. Perkey Jr., age 67 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Sunday, (3/7/2021) in the comfort of his home. Mr. Perkey was born September 29, 1953 in Ruffs Dale, PA, the son of the late Charles and Eva Snyder Perkey. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Chuck was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Hanson Aggregates at Whitney Quarry and also was raised and worked on the Perkey Family Farm. He enjoyed Tractor Pulling and hunting, but most of all he loved farming. He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Kathy Puskar Perkey, his children; Jonathan Perkey, Charles Perkey III and his wife, Marina, all of Alverton and James Perkey of Southwest. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren; Annina Perkey and Tyler Dunn. Chuck is also survived by his brothers and sister, John (Deanna) Perkey, Scott (Kim) Perkey and Eva Younkin. Honoring the wishes of the family, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Funeral Services will be held for his immediate family with a private interment in the Alverton Cemetery.
