Obituary of John V. Karadus

John V. "Jack" Karadus, age 79, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday January 31, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born August 11, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant, to the late Stephen and Cecelia Popovich Karadus. Mr. Karadus served in the United Sates Army and he worked for The U.S. Steel Corporation, Pittsburgh. Jack was a Lifetime member of the Kosciuszko Club and a member of the Bridgeport Sportsman's. Jack loved to play his guitar, singing, farming, and he always loved a good party. Jack is survived by his loving children, Charles Karadus (Diane), Stephen Karadus (Bea), John Karadus Jr., and Julie Brown; his loving grandchildren, Dustin Karadus (Morgan), Chuck Karadus, Heather Dewitt (Nathan), Ashley Wiltrout (Jake), Zachary Carnahan, Rebecca Carnahan, Alicia Brocious, Kira Berquist (Dave), Nicholle Lee, Brianna Williams, Kelli Sandoval, Jack Sandoval, Chuck Sandoval (Samantha), and Destyn Brown; his beloved great-grandchildren, Avery and Noah Dewitt, Piper Sandoval, Ray Anne, Sarah, and Michaella Breakiron, and Aliyah Williams; his brothers, Joe "Buzzy" Karadus (Nancy), and Stephen "Pip" Karadus (Audrey); his son-in-law Brian Lee; and his special buddy, Lexi. Jack is also survived by his companion, Annie Wargo and her daughter, Susie Bodziach. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, V. Patricia Karadus; his daughter, Jaqualine "Jackie" Lee; his granddaughter, Dolly Sandoval; his sisters, Mary Arvoits, Dolly Harrison, and Judy Slava; and his brother, Charles Karadus. Jack's family would like to send a thank you to ViaQuest Hospice, especially Alexis and Tracy for their wonderful care for Jack. The family would also like to send a thank you to Dr. George Bou Samra and Dr. Jayesh Desai. Per Jack's request, there will be no viewing or service.
