Obituary of James E. Racey

James E. Racey, age 83, of Youngwood, died Friday January 29, 2021 in Excela Frick Hospital. Mr. Racey was born December 4, 1937, in Somerset to the late Ernest and Ruth Racey. James was a graduate of North Huntingdon High School and served in the United States Army. Jim and his wife owned and operated Racey Appliance Sales and Service in Youngwood. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing at his cabin in Cook Forest. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Orange Racey; his loving daughters, Cynthia Ann Pisko (Michael), and Tammy Bonner (Clifford); his loving grandchildren, Kayla (Tyler), Kristen (Nick), Julianna (her dog Petey), Zachary, Gregory, Michael, Camry, Caleb, and Ryder; his beloved great grandchildren, Lucyanna, Jaxson, and Ricky; and by his loving sister, Carol Sosinski (Bob). In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Racey and his step mother, Zeta Racey. Per Jim's request, all services are private.
