Obituary of Kent R. Dusenbery

Kent R. Dusenbery, age 88, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday January 26, 2021. Mr. Dusenbery was born December 2, 1932 in South Huntington, Township to the late Forrest R. and Miriam Frances (Null) Dusenbery. Kent was a graduate of South Huntington High School class of 1951 and after graduation was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Scottdale. Mr. Dusenbery worked for Westinghouse and later retired from Powerex in 1991. Kent is survived by his wife, Elinor (Peterson) Dusenbery; his daughter, Kendra Blair; his three grandchildren, Aubrie, Sydney, and Daniel Beranek; his brother, Kendal (Angie) Dusenbery, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kent was preceded in death by his daughter Maria D. Beranek on 12/16/2020, his brothers, Keith and Kay Dusenbery, and his sisters, Miriam Graft, Madelyn Shaulis, and Marcia Dusenbery. Per Kent's request, there will be no viewing or service.
