Obituary of David M. Long

David M. Long, 59, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on January 12, 2021. He was born June 16, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant a son of Owen "Sonny" and Ruth (Whetzel) Long. He was a graduate of the Mt. Pleasant Area High School Class of 1979. He retired as a Electrician with the Local IBEW. Dave loved spending time at his cabin at Raystown Lake, fishing and working on his Kubota tractor. In addition to his parents, Dave is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia (Coffman) Long, two sons, Michael Long and his wife Tracey of Ruffsdale and David Long of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Miles and Chase Long; two sisters, Shirley Murtha and her husband Frank and Joanne Karadus and her husband Joe; and numerous nieces and nephews. In honoring Dave's wishes, all services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone- Caruso Funeral Home, Inc., Mt. Pleasant.
