Obituary of Patricia DiMichele

Patricia (Wisniewski) DiMichele, age 79 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Tuesday December 29, 2020 in Latrobe Hospital. Mrs. DiMichele was born Feburary 23, 1941 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Pietrzak Wisniewski. Mrs. DiMichele was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. She was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School and Latrobe Hospital School of Nursing. After nursing school Patty worked for Dr. Santamaria for many years, finishing her career with Dr. Domit. She loved her flowers, watching the birds in her backyard, listening to Neil Diamond music, and most of all her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 59 years, James R. DiMichele, her children; Pamela Rose of Scottdale, and Missy (Jaime) Smitley of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren; Ian (Nikki) Rose, Evan Rose, Hannah and Julia Smitley, Olivia Rose, William Smitley, and her great-granddaughter Aspyn Rose. Patty is also survived by her sister, Kathleen (Edward) Tylka. In Addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Anne Oberly, Lawrence Wisniewski, Rosemary Mucha, and an infant sister Theresa. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Monday January 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 224 Summit St. Mt. Pleasant, PA.
