Obituary of Joseph Anthony Klus

Joseph A. Klus Jr., age 92 of Mount Pleasant, PA died Wednesday December 16, 2020 in Frick Hospital. Mr. Klus was born Feburary 28, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Joseph A. and Mary Klus Sr. He was a member of the former Transfiguration Parish and attended Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. He had been employed as a Maintenance Man for Westmoreland County. Mr. Klus proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He is survived by his two daughters Lisa and Linda. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son: Anthony, and by his companion Loretta (Skilone) Govern in 2017. Due to the current health crisis, there will be no hours of public visitation. A private family viewing will be held. Family and Friends are invited to attend Joe’s Funeral Mass on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.
