Obituary of Dominick Rose

Trafford, PA, Dominick Rose, age 93 of Trafford, PA died Monday, December 7, 2020 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Rose was born March 25, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Henry and Mary C. Rose. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. Dom was a Veteran of the United States Army, who served in the Korean War as a Parachutist in the 11th Airborne Division. He retired from the Allegheny County Port Authority after many years of service. Dom was a member of the American Legion Post 0331 of Trafford. He enjoyed spending his weekends playing cards with his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Rosevitik and her husband, Ronald , his grandchildren; Erik Rose, Ryan Rose, Amber Rose and Kylee Rosevitik and by his daughter in law, Joanne Rose. Dom is also survived by his sisters and brothers; Mary Jane Crossland, Theresa Cosgrove and her husband, Jack, Charles Rose and Henry Rose and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Dominick was preceded in death by his wife, Fern, his son, Ronald Rose and by his brothers and sisters; Richard Rose, Lewis Rose, Cecilia Crossland and Margaret Snyder. There will be no hours of public visitation or services. The family would like to thank all of the people who helped take care of Dominick.
