Its been really hard for me to come to terms with this, but there is no way around it. I cannot ignore it in hopes that it will become less real. Your loss is real, and it is significant. You were one of the kindest people I've ever known and one of my closest friends. I will always remember you as the funny, intelligent, fun-loving friend and father that I knew you to be. Your struggle ends as ours continues and I promise to do better, as you hoped I would. Wish you were around to clog up my Facebook feed with more meathead workout videos. Rest easy my friend, you are loved and missed.
