Obituary of Robert Phillip Dawson

Mount Pleasant, Robert Phillip "Bobby" Dawson, age 73 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Tuesday (12/21/2010) in Excel Heath- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mr. Dawson was born July 17, 1937 in Hempstead, NY, the son of the late William and Margaret Smith Dawson. Prior to his retirement, Bobby was employed as a Baker for the former Krystyniak's Colonial Bakery. He had attended East New York High School. Bobby's' favorite past times were playing cards and going to the race track. He is survived by his loving family: his brothers and sisters; William Dawson, Jr. of Dawson, Albert Dawson and his wife Marie of Mt. Pleasant, with whom he made his home for over 40 years, Henry Dawson and his wife Carole of Mt. Pleasant, James Dawson of Wassaick, NY, Peter Dawson and his wife Margaret of Latrobe, Joseph Dawson, Margaret Ralph, Alice Ralph and her husband William and Susan Nunez and her husband Joseph , all of Speculator, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers; John in 1964, Charles in 1991 and Michael in 2009 and his two infant brothers, Richard and Frankie Dawson. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 PM, at which time his funeral service will be held at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev.
