Obituary of William P. Yezek

Bristol, VA. William P. "Bill" Yezek III, age 65 of Bristol, VA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday (10/24/10) at his home. Mr. Yezek was born September 19, 1945 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of William Jr. and Eleanor Sikora Yezek of Mt. Pleasant. He was a 1963 graduate of Southmoreland High School and attended California University of PA. Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Army. He had been employed by the Virginia Employment Commission for the past 27 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Patton-Crosswhite Post 6974. In addition to his parents, Bill is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Toni Gale Elder Yezek, and by his sons; Bill "Chip" Yezek and Douglas "Doug" Yezek and his wife Emily. He is also survived by his brothers, James Yezek and his wife Diane, and Barry Yezek and his wife Betty all of Mt. Pleasant, and several Nieces and Nephews. Family and friends will be received Friday from noon until 2pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, PA. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment with full military rites accorded by the American Legion Post 446 and the VFW Post 3368 will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family requests contributions be sent to the DAV Bristol Chapter 40, PO Box 775, Bristol, VA 24203, in memory of William "Bill" Yezek.
