Obituary of Norman W. Heller

Norman W. “Nootch” Heller, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Sunday (12/16/2018) at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Mr. Heller was born October 8, 1941 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Norman and  Agnes Veis Heller. He was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. Prior to his retirement, Nootch had been employed by Duraloy Steel. He enjoyed playing softball, gambling, playing cards, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family on their annual vacations.  

 

He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 40 years, Donna M. Keffer Heller, his beloved children; Tammy Collins and Jeff of Scottdale, Shalyn Zelenak and Eddie of Mt. Pleasant and Norman C. Heller and Rebecca of Derry and by his grandchildren; Kyle Collins, Neiko Hribal, Jace Heller, and Trinity Heller. Nootch is also survived by his sister, Sandra Toman and Raymond of Mt. Pleasant. 

 

Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Funeral Services for Nootch  will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home,  with the Rev Richard J. Kosisko  officiating.
