Obituary of Barbara Inez Laura

Barbara (Grosser) Laura, age 67 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday (10/31/18) at her home, surrounded by her loving family .

Mrs. Laura was born November 22, 1950 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of Phyllis Snyder Grosser of Mt. Pleasant and the late Chester Grosser.  She attended St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. Her greatest joy in life came from caring for her family.

Barb is survived by her loving family: her mother Phyllis, her husband of 27 years,  William “Terry” Laura, her children,  Chip Jones, Chad Jones and Heather, and Jason Laura and Amy, and by her beloved grandchildren, Haley, Kenzie, Kendal, and Kaylin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters;  Chester Grosser and Regina, Jeffrey Grosser and Merlinda, Brian Grosser, Rita Aller and Denise Boyle. In addition to her father, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Tracey Ioppolo.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 3 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating.

Inurnment will be private.
