Obituary of William Lobingier Dolan

William Lobingier Dolan, age 84 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday (10/17/18) in the Excela Health-Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA.

 

Mr. Dolan was born March 24, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late William and Martha Lobingier Dolan. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Bill was a 1953 graduate of the former Ramsay High School.  

 

He is survived by his loving family:  his devoted wife, Virginia Leonard Dolan, his children, William C. Dolan of White, Elizabeth Marker of Mt. Pleasant, and Michelle Johnson and her husband Greg of Scottdale and by his ten Grandchildren and eighteen Great Grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sisters; Mary Sue Hoke and Rosalind Ashmun, both of Mt. Pleasant, and by his daughter in law; Carole Crum .  In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, David Dolan, by his sister, Patricia Fisher, and his son in law, Merle Joe Marker. 

 

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mount Pleasant. Additional viewing will be held from Saturday from 11AM until 12 Noon at the Funeral Home.  A blessing service will be held at Noon at the Funeral Home   followed by Bill’s Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM   in St. Pius X RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
