Obituary of Patricia Marie Mardis

Patricia Marie (Lynn) Mardis, age 74 of Scottdale, PA, died Sunday (9/16/2018) at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Mardis was born October 24, 1943 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Clifford and Evelyn Gelosh Lynn.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Scottdale. Patricia was a 1962 graduate of the former Scottdale High School and also from the former Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing.  Patricia had been employed by Westmoreland Hospital and as Registered Nurse in the OB/GYN  Department for more than 35 years.  She enjoyed flower gardening,  decorating for the holidays and holiday gatherings with her family.  

Patricia is survived by her loving family: her husband of 52 years, Harry “Larry” Mardis,her children;  Kimberly Lynn Eiford and Ronald Eiford, Jr., Kathleen Marie Raffensperger and James and Kristin Dawn Liberoni and Timothy Kopcho. She will be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Ronald Eiford, III and Julie, Cassaundra Prinkey and Matthew, Tyler Akins, Taylor Akins, Katelyn Mardis and Grace Raffensperger and by her great grandchildren,  Aubree, Nicholas and Annabelle. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Baird, and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 until 8PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home,  204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.
