Obituary of Mary M. Pologruto

Mary (Lint) Pologruto, age 84 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died peacefully Sunday, 6/17/2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Pologruto was born December 20, 1933 in East Huntingdon Township, PA. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Lou Lou Tressler Lint.  Mary was an avid bingo player at the Mt. Pleasant Fireman’s Club, where she was very loved. She had a kind heart for all of the children in her neighborhood and made many spaghetti dinners for all. Everyone call her “Mother Mary”.

Mary is survived by her loving family: her children; Rose Wood and her husband Ronald , Rita Bair, Roberta Maceyko and her husband Allan,  Richard J. Pologruto and his wife Joan,  Renee Russell,  Randy Pologruto and his life partner David Rockot. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and by her brothers and sister, Larry Lint and his wife Gladys, Daniel Lint and Martha Lint.   In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Pologruto in 1974, her    granddaughter, Seana Nicole Russell in 2015, and by her brothers and sisters; Flo, Kay, Ruth, George, Rich, Chuck, Jim and Don.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 until 8 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Private Interment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Amedisys Home Hospice for the loving support they gave our mother and our family. Special thank you to Julia, and Justine Pologruto for being loyal and loving care givers for their grandmother.  The Mt.
