Obituary of Patricia M. Urban

 Patricia M. (Garcar) Urban, age 80 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Sunday (03/25/2018) in the Chan Soon-Shaiong Medical Center, Windber, PA. Mrs. Urban was born March 27, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Vagasky Garcar. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, and its Altar Rosary Society and Christian Mothers. Pat was a 1954 graduate of the former Hurst High School. Prior to her retirement, Pat had been employed in the Human Resources Office of Frick Hospital. Pat was an active member of Visitation Parish, where she enjoyed volunteering in the church office. She is survived by her loving family: her sons; David E. Urban and his wife Mary Ann of Latrobe, Philip J. Urban and his wife Carol of Stahlstown, and Brian J. Urban and his wife Michaelene of Newark, DE, her six grandchildren; Natalie Orio and Anthony, James Patrick "J.P." Urban and Sara Beth, Alexander Urban, Victoria Urban, Ralph Puffenbarger and Jessica and Joseph Puffenbarger, and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her Husband, Edward Charles Urban in 1991. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4 unitl 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Pat's Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
