Obituary of William Edward Leshko

 William Edward Leshko, age 80 of Tarrs, PA, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mr. Leshko was born September 26, 1936 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late John and Veronica Rushnock Leshko. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Bill had attended the former East Huntingdon High School. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446, the Slovak Club, and the Hecla Sportsman's Club. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all watching WWE wrestling, and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

He is survived by his loving family: his beloved wife of 50 years, Theresa D. Verostko Leshko, his daughter, Susan "Suzi" Kaper and her husband Tim of Mt. Pleasant and his beloved granddaughters, Kayla Kaper (Rob), and Kaitlyn Kaper. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Joseph Leshko, John Leshko, Jr., Dorothy Verostko, Mary Moore and Margaret Leshko.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

A blessing service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home , followed by Bill's Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
