Obituary of George J. Fagundes

Scottdale, George J. Fagundes, age 92 of Scottdale, PA, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 in The Grove at Irwin Care Center. Mr. Fagundes was born June 14, 1924 in San Bruno, CA. He is the son of the late Antone and Genevieve Ann Ferria Fagundes. He was Methodist by Faith. George served our country proudly in the United States Navy. He had been employed as a warehouse worker for Trane, Inc. George was very active in the Republican Party. He was a very social man; a Religious man who loved the Bible. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Fagundes in 1972, and by his sisters, Angie Fagundes in 1973, and Murial Fagundes in 2013. Family and friends will be received Monday from 10 AM until 11 AM, the time of his funeral service, at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, with Pastor Mike Hampton officiating.
