Obituary of Marc Allen Wojtanowski

Marc Allen Wojtanowski, age 47 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home. Mr. Wojtanowski was born November 2, 1969 in Connellsville, PA, the son of Edwin J. Wojtanowski (Sue) of Greensburg and Ellen Little Wojtanowski of Mt. Pleasant. Marc was a 1988 graduate of Southmoreland High School, and a 1993 graduate of Indiana University of PA. He was employed as a Case Worker for Adelphoi. Marc enjoyed sporting events, gardening, and taking his dog Jada to the lake, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family, his fiancé and his friends. Marc was very kind and always had a smile for everyone. He is survived by his loving family: his parents, Edwin Wojtanowski (Sue), and Ellen Little Wojtanowski, his fiancé, Colleen Conko, and her daughter and son, Caitlin Miller (Bryce), and Stephen Conko IV. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Wojtanowski and her daughter Sadie, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and by his God Parents, Linda (Gene) Wojtanowski. Family and friends are invited to attend Marc's Funeral Mass on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at 12-Noon at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to benefit Adelphoi's youth programs at: Adelphoi, ATTN: Community Relations, 354 Main Street, Latrobe, PA 15650. or Animal Friends of Westmoreland, Youngwood, PA., in Memory of Marc Wojtanowski.
