Obituary of Beverly Jean Furin

Beverly Jean (Aston) Furin, age 65 of Tarrs, PA, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Furin was born March 11, 1951 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Anastasia Switalski Aston, and her step mother Genevieve Peck Aston. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church of Tarrs. Beverly was a 1969 graduate of Southmoreland High School. She had been employed as a Customer Service Representative for GE Financial. Beverly is survived by her loving family: her devoted daughter, Bobbi Jo Furin and her fiancé Keven O'Conner of Tarrs, her sister, Kathy Roberts (Sammy) of RuffsDale and by her grandchildren, Katie Furin, and Joseph O'Conner. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Sherry Roberts Pelfrey (Nate), Christine Dedo (Michael), and their children, Timothy Roberts (Jamie) and their children, and her special loved ones, Kylie and Brandon Mulnix, and special Cousins, Debbie Smartnick (Frank) and their daughter Heidi, Jill Paraska (Mike), and two step grandchildren; Stacy and Ashly O'Conner. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Furin, Jr. in 2001, and by her special Aunt, Betty Klingensmith. Family and Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Dickman officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
