Obituary of Lois (Harbaugh) Kiral

Tempe, Lois (Harbaugh) Kiral, age 90 of Tempe, AZ, formerly of Calumet, PA, died Tuesday July 12, 2016 in Westchester Care Center, Tempe, AZ. Mrs. Kiral was born June 21, 1926 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Ross and Mary Weightman Harbaugh. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers. Lois was a 1943 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She was employed for more than 16 years as an Experimental Lab Technician for the Westinghouse Corp. Lois is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Darlene Auer of Tempe, AZ, her grandchildren; Gregory Auer, David Auer and Arlene Drop, four Great-grandchildren; Shayne, Ashli, Carley, and Colin, and her great granddaughter Madison. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Kiral in 1997, her son, Mark Kiral in 1950, her daughter, Marilyn Love in 2008, and by her great grandson Joseph. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street St., Mt. Pleasant, PA. A blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by Lois's Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, PA with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A Parish Wake Service will be held Sunday at 3PM and the Rosary Altar Society will pray the Rosary at 6PM in the funeral home.
