Obituary of Thomas George Queer

Reynoldsburg, OH Thomas George Queer, age 89 of Reynoldsburg, OH, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, PA, died Thursday (4/14/16) in the Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, OH. Mr. Queer was born June 18, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the son of the late William and Mary Blaine Queer. He was a member of the Reunion Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant. Tom was a 1944 graduate of the former Ramsay High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Era. Tom had been employed for more than 38 years as a Process Cameraman for the Laurel Group Newspaper Co. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446 of Mount Pleasant. Tom is survived by his loving family: his step children; Thomas Wagner (Debbie) of Belize, Timothy Wagner (Kristie) of St. Petersburg, FL, Ted Wagner (Martha) of Lyons, IN, and Tonya Thompson ((Mike) of Columbus, OH, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jean Rega Queer in 2013, and by his brother, Harold Queer. Family and friends will be received Saturday 4/30/2016 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM, the time of his Funeral Service, at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Susan C. Washburn officiating. Interment with military rites accorded by the American Legion Post 446 will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
