Obituary of Andrew C. Zemba

Andrew C. Zemba, 50, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, PA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his residence. He was the Director of the Interstate Waters Office, PA Department of Environmental Protection, Harrisburg and an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland where he was a collection counter and active participant in the That Man is You program. Andy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing Fantasy Football. Andy was born in Greensburg, PA to John and Donna (Sager) Zemba of Mt. Pleasant, PA. In addition to his parents Andy is survived by his wife Michelle R. (Huggens) Zemba; his children, Matthew and Laura Zemba; his siblings, Elizabeth Zemba of Mt. Pleasant, PA, John Zemba and wife Anne of Greensburg, PA, Donna Keslar and husband Kenneth of Everson, PA and Earl Zemba and wife Rose of St. Cloud, FL; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in his church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA with the Rev. J. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Viewing will be from 5 - 8 pm Wednesday evening in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully encouraged to the Trust Fund set-up to benefit Andy's children.
