Obituary of Adesta Jane (Kravice) Keefer

Connellsville, Adesta Jane Kravice Keefer, age 70 of Connellsville, PA, died Sunday (12/20/15) in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Keefer was born October 28, 1945 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Adam and Cecelia Sknerski Kravice. She was Catholic by faith. Adesta was a 1963 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School of Connellsville. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed for more than 23 years for Highlands Hospital. Adesta is survived by her loving family: her husband of 37 years, James A. Keefer, her children; Melinda Halfhill and Sam, and Frank Banko and Becky, all of Connellsville, and Adesta "A.J" Mastowski and Bob of Jamestown, PA, and by her step son, Scott Keefer and Veronica of Wisconsin, and her beloved grandchildren; Jami, Kelly, and Riley. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Posta and Keith of FL, and Mary Helen Ferrell and Mike of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Adesta was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Kravice in 2014. Honoring Adesta's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Inurnment will be private.
