Obituary of Lois I. (Myers) Aldom

Mount Pleasant, Lois I. Myers Aldom, age 85 of Laurelville, PA, died Monday (12/21/15) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Aldom was born October 27, 1930 in Kecksburg, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Shultz Myers. She was a longtime member of the Fairview Church of God. Lois was a 1948 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She was the owner of the former B & K Bait Shop of Laurelville for many years. Lois is survived by her loving and devoted family: her children; Bill "Willie Joe" Aldom, Jr. and Paula of Donegal, Ron Aldom and Sandy of Somerset, and Tim Aldom of Mt. Pleasant, and son in law George Kapr of Mt. Pleasant. Lois will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Nathan Kapr (Cindy), Kirk Kapr (Shara), Will Aldom, Jenna Hoffer (Jake), Samantha Boerger (Ryan), and Nicholas Aldom, and her great grandchildren, Carly, Camryn and Colt. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Aldom Sr. in 1996, her daughter, Karol L. Aldom Kapr in 2013, and by her brother and sisters, Edward Myers, Jane Kuhn and Jean Stahl. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 until 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, where her Funeral service will be held Thursday 12/24/15 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. John George Officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg, PA.
