Obituary of Michael W. Ceidro

Mount Pleasant, Michael W. Ceidro, age 81 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Thursday (10/15/15) in Excela Health- Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Mr. Ceidro was born December 20, 1933 in Tarrs, PA, the son of the late Samuel and Margaret Amoroso Ceidro. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, and it's Holy Rosary Society. Mike was a graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as an Industrial Electrician for the former Modulus Corp. Mike was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Fireman's Club and a life member of the Hecla Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by his loving family: his children; Victoria Cunningham and Marianne Firestone, both of Scottdale, and David M. Ceidro and his wife Dolores "Sissy" of Mt. Pleasant, by his beloved grandchildren; Jennifer, Ja'Nean, Michael, Danny, Jason, Rebekah, Sarah, Jeremy, Timmy, Valerie, Rick and Stephy, and by his great grandchildren; Austin, Lenin, Amadora, Catherine, Lucas, and Noak. Mike will also be greatly missed by his beloved cat, Jasmine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Varholla Ceidro in 2013, his son, Richard Ceidro in 1992 and his sister, Ann Ceidro Leonard in 2013. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30AM in the funeral home. The public is invited to attend Mike's Funeral Mass immediately following at 10:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J.
