Obituary of Thomas Edward Greenawalt

Mount Pleasant, Thomas Edward Greenawalt Sr., age 75 of Mount Pleasant, (Bullskin Township) died Saturday (10/10/15) at his home. Mr. Greenawalt was born February 19, 1940, the son of the late Thomas and Helen Malone Greenawalt. He was employed for many years as a Lumber Jack for the Eutsey Lumber Company. He is survived by his loving family: his children; Harry L. Gray (Cheryl), Barry Gray (Karen), Shirley Rycicki (Bruce), Rex Blackburn, Penny Leonard (Rick), Thomas Greenawalt, Jr., Kevin Greenawalt (Denise), and Keith Greenawalt (Emily), his twenty- four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Tom is also survived by his brother, Samuel Greenawalt. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his children's mother, Shirley Ann Gray Greenawalt in June of 2015, and by his son,Jonathan Lee Greenawalt in 1970. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Tom will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with his son Barry Gray officiating. Interment will be in the Greenlick Cemetery, Bullskin Township.
