Obituary of Frances Marie (Fail) Nutter

Mount Pleasant, Frances (Francesca) Marie (Fail) Nutter, age 92 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Thursday (08/13/15) in the Excela Health-Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA., surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Nutter was born August 29, 1922 in Tarrs, PA, the daughter of the late Micheleangelo Failla (d.1925) and Maria Nicola (Nesta) Failla Province (d.1980). She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society. Her family meant everything to her; from her family gatherings and parties with the exceptional meals she served, to the calm and quiet times she spent with them. She will remain in the hearts of her loving family forever. She is survived by her loving family: her six children; James W. Nutter, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Michele Hutchinson and her husband Ian of Chelmsford, Essex, England, Marie Hawley and her husband Sean of Seattle, WA, Michael Nutter and his wife Debbie, and Carol Wisniewski and her husband Leo, Jr., all of Mt. Pleasant, and Mary Margaret Picciuca and her husband Rosario of Park Ridge, IL, her six grandchildren: Beth Biondo, Aaron Nutter and his wife Amanda, Chelsea Nutter, and Michael Picciuca, Daniela Picciuca, and Heather Weaver - Lopez. Her two great grandsons, Jaxson and Brantley Nutter and a number of loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband: James William Nutter in 2001; her brothers; John, Philip, Frank, and Michael Fail and Russ and Frank Province. Her sister: Concetta (Till) Nudo, Calogera (Lena) Holzer, Raffaella (Ruth) Campbell and Catherine Mikel. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30AM in the funeral home followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in St. Pius X RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 3PM.
