Obituary of Margrit Renate Buckingham

Mount Pleasant, Margrit Renate Buckingham, age 88 of Mount Pleasant, PA, formerly of Syracuse, NY died Saturday (8/8/15) in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, PA. Mrs. Buckingham was born March 21, 1927 in Bremen, Germany, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Kretschmar. Margrit was a member of Calvary United Methodist church of Mattydale, NY and had been employed as a Data Processing Manager for the Syracuse Savings Bank. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Henry R. Buckingham of Indianapolis, IN, Lorraine Eastman of Auburn, NY and Loretta Shumar and her husband Eugene of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by her five Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margrit was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Buckingham in 1990 and by her sister. As per the wishes of the family, there will be no hours of public visitation. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt.
