Obituary of Rita Ann (Amdy) Gilmore

Youngwood, Rita Ann Gilmore, age 61 of Youngwood, PA, died Thursday (7/16/15) in Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Gilmore was born December 28, 1953 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Tlumack Amdy. Rita was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. She had been employed by Gabriel Brothers as a sales clerk. Rita is survived by her loving family: her twin brother; Robert Amdy of Mt. Pleasant and her sister Barbara Lotz and her husband John of Greensburg. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Kay Gilmore of Hunker. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, William Gilmore in 2007. Honoring Rita's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. A private graveside service will be held with family. Rita's family would like to thank all of her friends that helped through this difficult time.
