Obituary of Irene V. Iwaniec Fullman

Mount Pleasant, Irene V. Iwaniec Fullman , age 86 of Mount Pleasant ,PA, died Friday (07/3/15) in the Scottdale Manor & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Fullman was born November 28, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Jacob and Josephine Fornal Iwaniec. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church and the former Transfiguration Parish, and it's Holy Rosary Society. Irene was a 1946 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She worked for the former Red & White Grocery Store in their bakery department as a Supervisor for more than 25 years. Irene was an avid Pirates Fan. She enjoyed playing cards with her sisters, and going to the casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Irene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved caring for her family and always put their needs before her own. She always found the good in everyone and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her great personality and her wonderful smile will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Irene is survived by her loving family: her son, David J. Fullman and his wife Monica of RuffsDale, and by her grandsons; Ross Fullman and Courtney of Scottdale, and Ryan Fullman and Christina of RuffsDale. She is also survived by her sisters; Dorothy Potosky and Marcina Pawlikowski, both of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Fullman in 2005, and by her brothers and sisters: Edward and Valerian Iwaniec, Mary Jaworski, Sister Mary Loretta Iwaniec, Joan Iwaniec, and Margaret Krzanowski. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Tuesday the funeral home at 11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant. Interment will be in the Transfiguration Parish Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. The Transfiguration Holy Rosary will recite the rosary at 5:30PM on Monday in the funeral home.
