Obituary of Donald Kenneth Shaw

Mount Pleasant, Donald Kenneth Shaw, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Saturday (6/6/15) in the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mr. Shaw was born November 4, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Martha Firmstone Shaw. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ of Mt. Pleasant. Don was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Duraloy Steel Co. Don is survived by his loving family: his wife, Judith Ann Rodeheaver Shaw, and by his children, John K. Shaw and his wife Darlene of Mammoth, and Elizabeth D. Booher and her husband Brent of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Keener of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister Martha. As per the wishes of his family, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Paul R. Sarver, officiating. Private interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant.
