Obituary of Paul P. Redfoot
Greensburg, Paul Preston Redfoot, age 82 of Greensburg, PA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday (5/29/15) in Excela Health- Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA.
Mr. Redfoot was born July 15, 1932 in Mercer, PA, the son of the late Theodore and Dora McCurdy Redfoot. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean Era. He had worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the former Lenox Crystal Corporation and Pershing Square Complex of Greensburg. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446, and the VFW Post 3368 both of Mt. Pleasant. Paul was known for his kindness and his ability to repair anything. He was always the first to lend a helping hand. He most enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren ,who adored him. His infectious smile and friendly nature will be greatly missed by his family and friends
Paul is survived by his loving family: his wife of over 40 years, Virginia Wiltrout Redfoot, his children; Robert Clark and Donna of Warfordsburg, Cynthia Clark Hofbauer of Peters Township, Timothy Redfoot and Shirley, and Thomas Redfoot and Theresa, all of Mercer, his beloved grandchildren: Justin Bohatch and Miriam, Matthew Bohatch, Logan Hofbauer and Marc, Daria Hofbauer, Mia Hofbauer, Amy Sunseri and Charles, and Sabrina Redfoot, and by his great grandchildren: Alayna, Nina, Aria, Charles, Joseph and Nicolas. Paul is also survived by his brother and sister, Homer Redfoot and Nelly Jones, both of Mercer, and by his brother and sister in law, Gerald and Dolores Wiltrout, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
