Obituary of Donna J. Sebek Colbert

Mount Pleasant, Donna J. Sebek Colbert, age 66 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died peacefully Sunday (5/17/15), at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Colbert was born May 10, 1949 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Tomasek Sebek, Sr. She attended the Mt. Pleasant Church of God. Donna was a 1968 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. She had been employed by the former Lenox Crystal Corp. and most recently by the Montgomery Ward Co. Donna loved traveling and vacationing at the beach, but most enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Donna was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 44 years, Thomas L. Colbert, Sr., her sons, Thomas L. Colbert, Jr. and his wife Susan of New Marker, MD and Timothy A. Colbert of Mt. Pleasant, and by her beloved grandchildren, Nathaniel Colbert and Lilah Belle Colbert. Donna is also survived by her brother and sisters: Robert C. Sebek, Jr., Beverly Vanyo and her husband Gregory and Janice Keefer and her husband Carl, all of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Ann Sebek Jaworski in 1999. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Additional viewing will be held Thursday from 10 AM until 11AM, the hour of her service, in the funeral home with the Rev. Mark E. Peachey officiating.
