Obituary of Linda Joyce Dropik Mardis

Farmington, Linda Joyce Dropik Mardis, age 57 of Farmington, PA, died Tuesday (3/24/15) in the UPMC-Canterbury Place, Lawrenceville, PA. Mrs. Mardis was born June 23, 1957 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of Thomas and Lillian Chrapcynski Dropik. Linda was a 1975 graduate of Southmoreland High School. She had been employed as a receptionist for Another Way Inc of Farmington. Linda was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. No matter when her family called, Linda was the first one to offer help. Linda is survived by her loving family: her parents, Thomas and Lillian Dropik of Tarrs, her daughters, Jennifer Mardis of Hunker, and Kelly Moore and her husband Steven of Dunbar, and by her beloved grandchildren, Stephen and Seth Moore. She is also survived by her brother and sister; Richard Dropik and his wife Lori of Lititz, PA, and Susan Dropik of Plum, and four nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her husband: Terry Mardis in 2014. , Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Linda's funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating.
